Jorginho and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been speaking after Arsenal’s comeback win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Gunners bounced back from their defeat to Manchester City during the week, and in dramatic circumstances. Mikel Arteta’s men went behind twice at Villa Park, but rallied to win 4-2 thanks to a much-improved second-half display. Zinchenko got the second equaliser, before Jorginho forced a stoppage time lead with a superb long-range shot that hit the bar and then the back of Emiliano Martinez.

Gabriel Martinelli added another later on when Martinez went up for a Villa corner and Arsenal countered. Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Jorginho said: “That’s why it’s the best league in the world. It’s just beautiful.

“Of course, it’se very important after the last result we had. The start was not easy, but we came in half-time, we had a talk and then we went out to play the base of what we need to do, and we came back to win the game.”

Zinchenko also spoke about the win and Arsenal’s character, adding: “I think from this game, I would like to say two things. First, it’s an unbelievable lesson for all of us that we just need to believe until the very end and we will achieve everything. I have said in the past that this group has such amazing people, and they can achieve everything they want if we keep going in this way, if we keep fighting and believing.

“How we played int he second half was perfect, and that’s how we have to play future games. I’m so happy to help with my goal, but I just want to help the team.” Asked how the win impacts the mood among Arsenal players, Zinchenko concluded: “There are a lot of games to play, but we just have to keep going, keep fighting for everything.”
