The very best that the MLS has to offer will meet Arsenal in the side's next pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.

Mikel Arteta will be looking for more from his side after a 1-1 draw with Nurnberg marked the start of friendlies ahead of the Premier League's return next month.

Manchester United and Barcelona are also on the horizon but first Arteta will go head-to-head with Premier League legend Wayne Rooney. The DC United head coach is leading an MLS All-Star squad comprising of the American and Canadian league's 28 very best stars.

There'll be no Lionel Messi, who is yet to make his Inter Miami debut, but Christian Benteke, Riqui Puig and Matt Miazga are all names Arsenal fans may recognise.

The match is taking place at the 20,000-seater Audi Field in Washington.

Arsenal v MLS All-Stars is being broadcast across the world via a live stream for supporters who are keen to stay up until 1:30 am on Thursday.

The fixture is being shown on Apple TV for users with an MLS Season Pass, which can be purchased at $14.99 for a month's access. There's also an annual deal at $99 for fans of the American league.

Fans who purchase the subscription will also be able to watch the All-Star Skill Challenge the night before. In the light-hearted feature, Arsenal players will go head-to-head with MLS stars in a series of skill-based games to win points for their team with one side being crowned victors.

The rest of Arsenal's pre-season fixtures are being live-streamed by Arsenal on the club's official site. Single match passes for meetings with Manchester United, Barcelona and Monaco are £4.99.

Arsenal fans will be hoping for a first glimpse at new £105 million man Declan Rice in a Gunners shirt.

The former West Ham midfielder has been included in the Arsenal squad and it seems likely that Mikel Arteta will give the marquee signing game-time on Wednesday night.
