The Bundesliga star Joshua Kimmich is eyeing up a potential move to the Premier League this summer as his future with Bayern Munich hangs in the balance.
According to a recent Twitter (X) post from the Sky Sports Germany transfer guru Florian Plettenburg, Arsenal is one of five top priority clubs for the 29-year-old who would supposedly also reject any bids from Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester United.

The German giants tried to sell the defensive midfielder to Newcastle last summer in a deal involving the Magpies defender Kieran Tripper who they tabled three bids for. Nearly a year on, Bayern remain similarly keen to sell the ex-RB Leipzig star so as not to lose him on a free transfer in 2025.
Plettenberg's tweet has stated that "Only five top clubs are in consideration for Kimmich: Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona." It was also suggested that some of the aforementioned clubs have already contacted the Germany international although it does not indicate which ones.
A report from BILD claimed that last month Kimmich was involved in a bust-up with outgoing boss Thomas Tuchel's assistant Zsolt Low after the side lost to league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. It was claimed the midfielder - who doubles as a right-back - had to be held back after Low shouted something at him. The situation was subsequently downplayed the ex-Chelsea boss who said: "I know what was going on. This is not for the public. We are in a football locker room."
Kimmich joined the Bundesliga giants - who are suffering a disastrous campaign - in 2015 and has played over 250 league games for the club. He also has 82 international caps for Germany. Regarded as one of the best defenders in the world, the 29-year-old has previously received phenomenal praise from an ex-Arsenal superstar.

After detailing why the former England star would love to go right wing-back a go, Wright said of the German international: "That's why I like Kimmich, I love him and he's the one I want to see in the Premier League. There's a vibe about Kimmich and I just love it, he's my favourite at the minute."
