Fabrizio Romano's Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham transfer update: 'Documents signed', 'medical tests' scheduled

The summer transfer window is now rapidly closing in with the deadline on Friday night. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are still likely to do more deals be it incoming or outcoming, with managers now refining their squads having seen their respective teams in competitive action.
Chelsea are likely to offload a number of players and could sign one or two, while Arsenal’s focus will also be on offloading players, potentially adding one more late in the window. Spurs look pretty set but could yet add an attacking option ahead of the deadline. Here we round up all the latest from transfer ‘insider’ Fabrizio Romano.

Hide AdSolomon loan
Tottenham are set to wrap up a deal to offload Manor Solomon on a loan deal, with Leeds United taking advantage of the winger’s availability to replace Crysencio Summerville.
Romano tweeted: “Manor Solomon signs in as Leeds United player today after medical, it will be a loan from Spurs as reported on Sunday. There was a Dutch club trying to hijack the deal... but he's going to #LUFC.”
Vieira deal
Arsenal will also loan out one of their players by sending Fabio Vieira to FC Porto on a deal that will last the duration of this season. The youngster needs to stay fit and play regular first team football at this stage.
“Fábio Vieira’s loan move to Porto from Arsenal is sealed! All documents have been signed,” Romano tweeted. “#AFC have just authorized Fábio to travel on Tuesday for medical tests. Loan move confirmed, NO buy option.”

Chelsea are set to offload two unwanted stars, albeit one will be on a temporary deal. Firstly, Romelu Lukaku is set to join Napoli on a deal worth around £25million. “No issues, no problems for Romelu Lukaku’s move to Napoli from Chelsea,” Romano said.
“Just matter of documents check and contracts review ahead of travel for medical tests. Romelu has been in touch with Conte almost every day since Friday.” On Kepa Arrizabalaga’s loan move to Bournemouth, Romano added: “Final round of talks on Tuesday for Kepa’s loan move to Bournemouth from Chelsea.”
Chelsea striker option
Chelsea could yet sign a new striker but it will be tough for them to land Victor Osimhen due to the cost of a deal being above £80million, while a loan deal does not seem to be on the table.
Romano has told Playback of the situation: “Chelsea’s interest in Osimhen has always been on a loan, but Osimhen wants a permanent deal. I would also keep an eye on Jhon Duran.”

Hide AdComan an option?
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has been linked with a move to Arsenal, while Tottenham have also been tipped to consider a loan deal for the winger.“A player to watch in the final 24 hours, 48 hours, 56 hours or whatever. In the final days is Kingsley Coman because interest in Coman is still there,” Romano said on his YouTube channel, speaking generally about Coman’s situation.
“It’s a strong interest from Premier League clubs, from Barcelona. Barca are considering Coman and Federico Chiesa. Kingsley Coman has several possibilities also in England. So he’s going to be one to watch for the final days because there is still an expectation for Coman to leave Bayern. There could be a surprise with Coman.”
Chiesa going elsewhere
Juventus wantaway Federico Chiesa has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham this summer, but it looks as though Liverpool are more likely suitors. Romano tweeted: “EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool make initial approach for Federico Chiesa as possible option for final days. Chiesa, available on the market as Juve want to find a solution and #LFC made contact today.
“Liverpool exploring conditions of the deal as Chiesa would be keen on PL move.” He added: “More on Federico Chiesa exclusive story. Understand Chiesa has given his full availability to join Liverpool after initial talks. He’s excited about this possibility and contract won’t be an issue. Juventus want Chiesa to leave and asking price is around €15m. Deal ON.”
