Arsenal have made a number of headlines this summer with marquee moves for Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber all cementing their status as title contenders.
The Gunners have been one of the busiest teams in the entire league this summer and the Emirates shows no signs of quieting down as we approach the final few days of the transfer window.
As many as five Arsenal players trained separately from the first team as Edu try to help the club improve their net spend of over £200m and it appears the Gunners are close to a breakthrough for a record sale.
There’s also talk of a move away for their club-record signing and further talks of additions in the final few days.
With that in mind we have rounded up all of the latest transfer stories surrounding the North London giants.
Arsenal close to agreeing club record sale
Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has been heavily linked with an exit from the Emirates Stadium this summer despite a prolific loan spell in Ligue 1 with Reims.
Balogun is one of five Arsenal players training separately from the first team as the club attempts to negotiate his departure.
The newly capped USA striker is tipped to be a star for years to come and it appears Arsenal have finally made a breakthrough with his sale.
Reports from the Athletic’s David Ornstein suggest a £38m deal has been agreed by the Gunners and AS Monaco for the sale of the forward.
The French outfit appear to have beaten the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham to the young striker's signature.
The move would make Balogun’s Arsenal’s most expensive sale and it would exceed the £35m they received for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain from Liverpool in 2017.
Club record signing close to Arsenal exit
Arsenal’s club record signing Pepe seems highly likely to leave the Emirates this summer and he appears to be surplus to requirements.
His next destination remains unclear at the moment but The Evening Standard claims that Beskitas is the most likely European destination, while Saudi Arabia could pose an interest if the player decides to leave Europe.
Arsenal consider move for Ajax prodigy
The Gunners have strengthened in several areas this summer but Mikel Arteta is considering a move for a Ghanaian winger to add further depth to his attack.
Mohammed Kudos is reportedly a name on Arsenal’s radar according to The Athletic.
The 22-year-old scored 11 league goals last season for Ajax and has also attracted interest from London rivals Chelsea and West Ham.
