Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres look set to be the centre of a transfer storm this summer amid major Premier League interest in the goalscorer's services. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been hotly tipped to be willing to fork out a huge £80 million for his services.
Portuguese outlet A Bola this week that the Gunners are the frontrunner to complete a deal with the Blues having had a £73 million bid rejected by Lisbon in January. The Liga Portugal outfit are said to only be willing to accept any offer that meets a €100 million - or £86 million - release clause that exists in the player's contract.

The Swedish international has also gained Europa League experience and is widely regarded as one of the continent's most exciting goalscorers. It's no surprise to see Sporting Lisbon demanding such a lofty sum for the former Brighton and Swansea City star, especially when a chunk of that fee is due to directly benefit Gyokeres' former club Coventry.
The Sky Blues are believed to be due 15% of any transfer fee received by Sporting Lisbon, having let their star man leave for £21 million last summer. Should he be sold for £86 million, that would mean a big £13 million cash windfall for the Championship side.
Speaking about his future to Fotbollskanalen recently, the player said: “I do not know. That is a lot of money. But it's not something that affects me.

“We'll see this summer. It's not something I know about myself, what will happen. I enjoy Sporting extremely well and feel no stress about the summer coming quickly.”
