Arsenal vs Bolton Wanderers early team news as 2 doubts and 11 outs including fresh Gunners worry

Arsenal might have taken a point at the Etihad Stadium ahead of kick-off but the late fashion in which Manchester City levelled the score was a sucker-punch for Mikel Arteta and his side.
The Gunners do have the chance to return to winning ways with midweek Carabao Cup action against League One outfit Bolton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium. The two sides haven't met since February 2012, when the Trotters were still in the top flight.

Arsenal team news
The sending off of Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard proved to be somewhat of a turning point as the Gunners drew with Manchester City at the weekend. The Belgian international picked up a second yellow card just before half-time for a second yellow card.
That one-match ban will be served in the Carabao Cup this week, so the 29-year-old will not make the squad to face Bolton Wanderers. Trossard is eligible to return for the meeting with Leicester City on Saturday.

Goalkeeper David Raya appeared to be carrying an injury following Sunday's action too, with his right knee bandaged after the game against Manchester City. The goalkeeper had received treatment in the second half but didn't need replacing, so it remains to be seen how serious that is.

Elsewhere, summer signing Mikel Merino continues to nurse a shoulder injury and isn't expected to make his debut until the end of October. Captain Martin Odegaard is also recovering from a 'significant' ankle injury picked up on recent international duty.
Full-backs Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu are also longer term lay-offs with no return date yet known. Oleksandr Zinchenko is another player in that position fighting a niggle and was absent from the Gunners' squad against Manchester City, making a return against Bolton unlikely.
Bolton Wanderers team news
Jordi Osei-Tutu is a former Arsenal youth graduate but the 25-year-old won't be able to face his former club due to a knee injury picked up against Barrow earlier this month. The wing-back is set to return at the end of October.

Gethin Jones has a knee injury and Will Forrester, who fell down a flight of stairs in August and required emergency surgery, will also miss out.
