Youngster targeted

Arsenal are being linked with a swoop for Club Brugge prospect Antonio Nusa down the line with the 18-year-old, who is a Norway international already with two caps to his name, being tipped for a bright future in the game. According to a report by Voetbalkrant, the Gunners are ‘very interested’ in luring the forward to the Emirates Stadium but would face competition from some top European teams such as Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, AS Monaco and Lyon.

Nusa was on the books at Langhus and Stabæk before his current club landed him back in 2021. He has since risen into the first-team picture at the Jan Breydel Stadium in the Belgian Pro League and has made 45 senior appearances already, chipping in with four goals.

“I’m told he’s a player they’ve been tracking for a long time, but it’s not only Arsenal. There are three or four clubs monitoring Diomande for the future, but it was never a negotiation this summer as he wasn’t for sale.”
