The London club were due to face PSV in their second group stage fixture in September, however the match was postponed due to The Queen’s death and will now be played a week prior to their trip to the Netherlands.

Arsenal are clear favourites to come out on top at the Emirates Stadium tonight after a stellar start to the campaign, though they will have to be careful of a slip up after the Norwegians previously beat both Roma and Celtic last season.

Ahead of Arsenal’s first of five group games in five weeks, we take a look at the latest injury news...

Arsenal

Cedric Soares

Cedric has suffered a stop-start beginning to the season due to a recurring injury, however it has been reported that the defender has now fully recovered and may be in Mikel Arteta’s plans for tonight’s clash.

Expected return date: October 6th

Mohamed Elneny

Mohamed Elneny picked up a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s win over Fulham last month and is likely to be sidelined for a few months.

With the Premier League set to break for the World Cup in November, the midfielder may not return for Arsenal until the new year.

Expected return date: Unknown

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko missed training on Wednesday ahead of tonight’s European clash.

The Ukrainian was seen limping away from Arsenal’s win over Tottenham, though it is thought his absence is precautionary.

Expected return date: October 9th

Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelson returned to the matchday squad against Tottenham after returning from injury and could make his first appearance of the season against Bodo/Glimt.

The 22-year-old hasn’t featured for the Gunners since their defeat to Brentford on the opening day of the 2021/22 campaign.

Expected return date: October 6th

Emile Smith Rowe

Emile Smith Rowe has been absent since Arsenal’s defeat to Manhcester United and has now undergone surgery on a groin issue.

The midfielder is set to be sidelined for a couple of months and will miss out on any slim chance of going to the World Cup.

Expected return date: December 2022

Bodo/Glimt

Sondre Fet is yet to fully recover from a knee injury and will miss out on the trip to the English capital.

The midfielder hasn’t featured for Bodo/Glimt since a draw to Lillestrom in May.

Other than Fet, Kjetil Knutsen otherwise has a fully fit squad to choose from this evening.
