Arsenal are still top, but Manchester City are closing in, now just two points behind. For now, though, concentration is on the Europa League, and while preparations ramp up, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Milinkovic-Savic interest

Arsenal are desperate to sign Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Calcio Mercato.

It’s claimed Tottenham are also interested, but Arsenal could lead the way, willing to pay a big fee to get a deal done. According to the report, the Gunners are willing to offer a player-plus-cash deal, including promising midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with a move away from Lazio for some time, but it’s claimed the Serie A side want as much as £107million to commission a sale. Arsenal would need to include a player to reach that kind of fee given the money they spent in the summer.

Zaha links

Arsenal are again being linked with a move for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha has been linked with the Gunners on and off for a number of years, but as he approaches 30, there is a sense he may well want the chance to win trophies. Arsenal may be in position to offer that, according to the 90min report, Liverpool are also interested as they look to right a disappointing start to the season.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are not likely to sell for anythng short of a big fee given a sale would see them lose their best player mid-way through the season.
