Arsenal target's agent 'aware' of 'interest' as Gunners eye ambitious striker deal
Arsenal are back in Premier League action this weekend
Arsenal won 2-1 at home to rivals Tottenham Hotspur last time out. Gabriel and Leandro Trossard got their goals at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are sat in 2nd place in the Premier League table behind Liverpool by four points. Mikel Arteta’s side are back in action with a home clash against Aston Villa.
Benjamin Sesko to Arsenal latest
Benjamin Šeško’s agent Elvis Basanovic has been coy about his chances of a move this January. Arsenal have been linked with a move for the striker.
Basanovic has said, as per journalist Fabrizio Romano on X: “Even if we’re aware of interest from several top clubs for long time, if you ask me if Šeško will move in January, I can only say, Šeško is RB Leipzig player and they can answer these questions”.
Sesko, who is 21-years-old, could be seen by Arteta as someone to bolster their attacking department. He has a lot of potential and would be a useful long-term addition for the London outfit as they chase down Liverpool.
The Slovenia international has been on the books at Leipzig since joining the Bundesliga club in 2023. He has since scored 31 goals in 67 games in all competitions for them to date, 13 of which have come in this campaign.
Sesko was snapped up as a youngster by RB Salzburg and was loaned out to FC Liefering to get some experience under his belt initially. He then broke into the first-team of the Austrian Bundesliga team and found the net on 29 occasions in 79 outings before his current club swooped in for his signature.
Leipzig could now face a battle to keep hold of him amid attention from elsewhere. A switch to England wouldn’t be a surprise and he has been linked with it for a while.
Former Arsenal player Paul Merson has urged the Gunners to sign a new forward. They are looking light at the top end of the pitch.
The pundit has said, as per Sky Sports: “This reminds me of a time during the Arsene Wenger era. Every Arsenal player, pundit and fan knew they needed a centre-half and they didn't go out and get one. I hope Mikel Arteta isn't thinking like that. Everyone knows they need a forward. They need to freshen it up, they don't need to play straight away, but they need that extra body.
“You have seen it with Manchester City and Julian Alvarez, what a massive miss he has been. Arsenal need that extra kick because they are in this title race, there is no doubt about it.”
Theo Julienne first Arsenal deal
Arsenal have confirmed that Theo Julienne has penned his first professional deal. He has been a key player for the Under-18’s recently.
He has said: “Obviously it’s a great feeling to sign for this club. I’ve been here a while now, I joined when I was 13, so I’m happy that I’ve signed.
“The highlight so far has got to be winning the Liam Brady Cup with under-16s! That was a tough tournament with teams like Flamengo, but we got through and won.”
