Raphinha race

Arsenal are said to have joined the race to sign Leeds United star Raphinha.

The winger is attracting plenty of interest around Europe currently, with Leeds United in talks with him over a new contract.

According to the Express, Arsenal are now interested in pulling off a move, with hope there is a release clause in any new contract, as has been reported.

It’s said that Raphinha could be available for as little as £20million if Leeds are relegated.

No transfer windfall

Arsenal are likely to miss out on a transfer windfall this summer, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles unlikely to be snapped up permanently by Roma, according to the latest reports.

According to 90min.com, loan club Roma are not planning to sign Maitland-Niles on a long-term deal.

The midfielder has had mixed form in Serie A, making six league appearances, and it seems he will return to north London at the end of his deal, as things stand.
