Arsenal will look to extend their winning run in the Premier League to five games after a dramatic victory over Bournemouth last weekend kept their title bid on course.

The Gunners have not won the Premier League since 2004 but are in a strong position to end that run, as they hold a five-point lead over Manchester City with 12 games remaining.

Folarian Balogun has given a strong indication regarding his Arsenal future after sharing a post on Instagram claiming he will be ‘like a new signing’ next season.

The 21-year-old has netted 16 times in all competitions for Stade Reims this term. Only three players have scored more goals in Ligue 1 with the Arsenal loanee boasting more league goals than both Messi and Neymar.

Reims are fined £22k per match because of their head coach’s lack of qualifications. Manager William Still does not yet have his UEFA Pro Licence, with Reims fined every time they play as Ligue 1 rules state every manager in the top division must hold a licence with Still undergoing the process to earn his.

Balogun spent the second half of last season on loan with Middlesbrough, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 18 Championship appearances. He also featured in Boro’s memorable run to the FA Cup quarter-finals as they beat Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur before losing to Chelsea.
