Arsenal return to action on Sunday when they take on Nottingham Forest.

It has been a week of setbacks for the Gunners, who drew with Southampton in the Premier League last weekend and then missed the chance to win their Europa League group with a game to spare, losing to PSV Eindhoven. The Gunners were leapfrogged by Manchester City on Saturday, dropping to second, but if they wil this one, they will return to the top, having occupied the position for much of the season so far.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Mudryk update

Arsenal are said to have turned their noses up at Mykhaylo Mudryk’s reported £50million valuation.

Shakhtar Donetsk have made it clear they expect a big fee if they are going to sell Mudryk, who has been excellent in the Champions League so far this season. Everton are said to have seen a £30million bid for the winger rejected in the summer, and it’s thought it will take £50million to strike a deal.

Arsenal have been heavily linked, but the Express say they ‘baulked’ at the valuation. Though, with Mudryk’s current form, and the likelihood of interest from other clubs, it may well take that much if the Gunners want to do a deal.

Jesus reports

Real Madrid have been linked with a surprise move for Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus has enjoyed a good start to life with the Gunners following his move from Manchester City, albeit his goal-scoring form has slowed down a little of late. According to Fichajes, Real Madrid are interested in signing Jesus already, but if they are, it certainly won’t be in January.

Arsenal are not going to sell the Brazilian any time soon, and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti said this week that Los Blancos are ‘not interested’ in making signings in January.
