Arsenal are ‘not looking’ to pursue a move for Brighton and Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard before the end of the transfer window, according to a report by Football Insider. The Belgium international is facing an uncertain future with the Seagulls this winter but doesn’t appear to be on his way to the Emirates Stadium. Spurs have been credited with an interest and the door could now swing open for them to swoop in.

Diaby latest

The Gunners have been linked with Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby over the past 24 hours or so. According to a report by the Daily Mail, fellow top flight club Newcastle United have made a ‘fresh enquiry’ about his availability. The wideman has scored six league goals so far this term.

Defender edges closer to exit

Fulham are ‘closing’ in on the signing of Cedric Soares from Arsenal, as per the Daily Mail. The 31-year-old right-back, who joined back in 2020, has slipped down the pecking order with Mikel Arteta’s side and has seen his game time dry up. He has made just two league appearances this season as well as playing in a couple of cups games.
