Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu to sign new contracts

Defensive duo Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are set to be rewarded for their fine form this season with new contracts, according to a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano on the Daily Briefing.

Neither of the two have signed on the dotted line just yet - White's negotiations have been ongoing since October - but it is expected that they will do so sooner, rather than later. Tomiyasu's deal, in particular, has been handed to him to ward off attention from interested clubs - teams in Serie A have previously been linked with the player.

Aston Villa register interest in Arsenal target Oscar Gloukh

Arsenal's interest in RB Salzburg midfielder Oscar Gloukh is apparent, with the Gunners 'monitoring' his progress ahead of the summer transfer window - but the Gunners will be joined in the race for his signature by fellow Premier League outfit Aston Villa.

This is according to a report from Football Insider, who mention that Villa have also 'extensively' scouted the Israeli starlet. Gloukh is enjoying a fantastic run under the Red Bull umbrella, having scored six goals and notching up seven assists in 28 games this season. At the age of just 19, his potential in football is limitless - but where will it take place?
