Arsenal are 'main contenders' in race to sign Joshua Zirkzee

Arsenal are now considered the 'main contenders' in the race to snap up Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee, according to a report from Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb. He will not come cheap, though - he is expected to cost no less than £43 million for any clubs interested in the player.

The former Bayern Munich forward has yet to reach his full potential at the highest level of the game, but he enjoying a modestly successful season in Serie A. As things stand, he has scored nine goals and has racked up four assist in 24 league games.

Gunners 'monitoring' RB Salzburg's Oscar Gloukh

Arsenal, as well as Barcelona, are thought to be interested in a move RB Salzburg wonderkid Oscar Gloukh, according to a report from FootballTransfers. They are monitoring his progress at the Red Bull outfit, for whom he has scored four goals and has racked up four assists this season.

Despite being just 19 years of age, Gloukh has already established himself in Israel's national team - he has won 11 caps for them, scoring three goals along the way. An attacking midfielder by trade, Gloukh can also function in central midfield.
