Midfielder to leave?

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho is being linked with an exit this summer despite only making the switch to the Emirates Stadium in the last January transfer window from London rivals Chelsea. According to Italian news outlet Outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, he may well be ‘leaving’ the Gunners over the next couple of months amid links with a return to Italy.

The 31-year-old was brought in last winter to add more cover and competition to the club’s midfield department as they chased down the title and he went on to make 16 appearances in all competitions, 14 of which came in the league. The former Hellas Verona and Napoli man only penned a one-and-a-half year deal which means he is due to become a free agent in June 2024.

Striker targeted

Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is reportedly a man in-demand ahead of the upcoming transfer window and Mikel Arteta has a big decision to make on his future amid interest from other teams. The Daily Mail claim AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma are all ‘monitoring’ his situation after his impressive loan spell in Ligue 1 with Stade de Reims this past campaign.

The 21-year-old has played for the Gunners since 2008 and has since risen up through the academy. He has been a prominent figure for their youth sides over recent years and has also made 10 first-team appearances to date, finding the net twice in the process.
