They are back in action tomorrow night at home to Aston Villa and will be looking to make it five victories on the spin.

Here is a look at the latest news coming out of the club...

Change of plan?

Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has suffered an injury blow.

A report by The Athletic suggests he could now be out for a ‘substantial period’ which leaves Arteta light of options in the middle of the park.

This could now force them to look at bringing in a player in that position between now and the end of the transfer window later this week.

Exit on the cards

Ainsley Maitland-Niles could be heading out the exit door for a fellow top flight team.

He has slipped down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium and spent the second-half of the past campaign out on loan at Roma in Italy.

90min claim he is now in ‘discussions’ over a potential temporary switch to Newcastle United.

Target open to move

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Wolves star Padro Neto for a while now.

The forward has been a key player for Bruno Lage’s side over the past couple of campaigns.

Speaking on his ‘the here we go’ podcast, reporter Fabrizio Romano has said: “Neto would be really tempted by Arsenal.

“I am told the player is another factor in this story. He is not forcing anything, as of now, but he will be keen to move to Arsenal.”
