Defender stance on future

Defender William Saliba has been a key player for Arsenal so far this term.

The Frenchman has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet now after his loan spell at Marseille in the last campaign.

He is happy at the Emirates Stadium and has told Sky Sports: “Yes, for sure. I’m at home here. I like London, I like the club, I like everything. I feel at home here.”

Midfielder injury blow

The Gunners have been dealt a blow with Martin Odegaard out injured.

He is currently suffering from a calf injury and sat out of the last game.

His Norway manager Stale Solbakken has said, as per TV2: “He’s not doing well now. Now it’s a matter of getting a final decision on whether he can be in both or one game (on international duty.”

Target has big price tag

Arsenal-linked Mykhaylo Mudryk at Shakhtar Donetsk is apparently valued at a hefty price.

The 21-year-old is being tipped for a bright future in the game.

Reporter Fabrizio Romano has revealed in his CaughtOffside column that he will come at a cost to whoever signs him: “Shakhtar will take their time and I’m sure they want more than €45-50m for Mudryk … but we’ve to see how his performances in the Champions League will be in the next weeks.”
