Midfielder linked

Arsenal and rivals Tottenham Hotspur are ‘keeping tabs’ on N’Golo Kante’s situation at Chelsea, as per a report by The Sun. The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and is due to become a free agent as things stand, with the likes of Liverpool and Atletico Madrid also mentioned as potential destinations this summer.

The France international has been on the books at Stamford Bridge since 2016 and has made 262 appearances for the Blues in all competitions. However, just two have come this term as he has struggled with injury.

England ace eyed

The Gunners have made landing West Ham’s Declan Rice a ‘priority’, as per Football London. Mikel Arteta wants to lure the England international to the Emirates Stadium ahead of the next campaign to further bolster his options in the middle of the park.

Rice has been with the Hammers for his whole career to date and has been a key player for them over the past few years. However, his deal runs out in 2024 and they are facing a serious battle to keep hold of him amid strong interest from other clubs including Arsenal.
