All the latest news surrounding the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal prepare to face Liverpool in the Premier League.

Arsenal are now preparing for a tricky-looking clash with Liverpool this weekend as they continue their Premier League title bid.

The Gunners are currently eight points clear at the top of the table, albeit having played a game more, and they will be looking to maintain their dominance this weekend when they face a Liverpool side desperate to get into the thick of the top four race. Second-place Manchester City beat Liverpool comfortably last weekend, and Arsenal must now follow suit to avoid giving Pep Guardiola’s men fresh hope.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool injury boosts

Liverpool could get two players back from injury this weekend as they prepare to face the Gunners.

The Reds drew with Chelsea during the week, and they were without both Virgil van Dijk and Harvey Elliott through injury. But according to Football Insider, both players could return ahead of this weekend’s clash with Arsenal.

That could be a big boost for Liverpool, though Van Dijk has struggled for form this season, and so there will be added pressure for the Dutchman heading into this one.

Sow report

Arsenal are said to be ‘in talks’ with Eintracht Frankfurt over Djibril Sow.

According to Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Sow wants to leave Frankfurt at the end of the season, and his contract expires in the summer of 2024, meaning there is likely a deal to be done. The report also claims there are talks ongoing with German, Italian and English clubs ahead of the summer.

Arsenal are said to be one of the interested clubs, already engaging in conversations as they look to add depth to their midfield this summer. Sow has been key for Frankfurt in recent years, playing a central role in their Europa League win last season.
