Odegaard is said to be in ‘advanced talks’ over an extension, as per the Daily Mail. Meanwhile, the same report says White is set to ‘open’ discussions.

Arsenal have picked up 10 points from their first four league outings and are joint-second in the Premier League table behind Manchester City. They beat Manchester United 3-1 last time out and are back in action after the international break with an away trip to Everton this weekend.

The Gunners swooped to sign Odegaard from Real Madrid on an initial loan deal in 2021 before his switch was made permanent shortly after. He has since made 110 appearances in all competitions and has scored 26 goals, two of which have come this term.

The Norway international, who has made 53 caps under his belt, has become a key player for Mikel Arteta’s side in the middle of the park. Extending his stay would be a shrewd bit of business and would be a big boost heading into the rest of the campaign.

Arsenal landed White in 2021 and he has since adapted into a right-back. He has played 88 games for the London club and his current deal expires in June 2026 just before the next World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

The Poole-born man rose up through the ranks at Brighton and Hove Albion and was loaned out to Newport County, Peterborough United and Leeds United in the Football League to get some experience under his belt as a youngster. He then went on to play 36 times for the Seagulls before the Gunners lured him away from the AMEX Stadium a few years ago.
