“He is too important a player to be marginalised, he must also think about his situation with the national team.
“He was signed to play a different style of football, with Maurizio Sarri he would have played Jorginho, Allegri likes him but instead he wants to play with two more physical midfielders.
“It’s a tactical question, and I don’t make the technical choices.

Sampaoli’s Saliba wish
Marseille boss Jorge Sampaoli has made it clear that he would like to keep Arsenal defender William Saliba around beyond this season.
“William’s progress is linked to his development this season and the maturity he now has and his playing time. He is now consistent, he’s grown up as a player,” the Argentine said.
“In relation to his situation at the club, I hope that there is a possibility for us to retain a player like him, who knows the team.

Marquinhos chase
Arsenal are said to be chasing Sao Paulo star Marquinhos ahead of the summer transfer window.
Marquinhos is still only 19 years of age, but he already has more than 40 appearances to his name, and he is being tipped for a big future.
According to Globo, Arsenal are closing in on a deal for the striker, potentially needing more than one frontman this summer amid difficult contract scenarios with Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette.
