Crystal Palace are reported to be on the verge of securing the signature of Arsenal star Eddie Nketiah. However this is not the only star from the Emirates that Oliver Glasner’s side have their eye on just three days before the transfer window shuts up for the summer.
Nketiah had been set for a move to both Marseille and Nottingham Forest this summer. The first move, however, broke down with the Ligue 1 side failing to submit a bid with the required fees Arsenal desired; while the proposed move to Nottingham Forest was ultimately rejected by the striker, despite an offer of £30m being on the table.

Hide AdNow, it appears Nketiah is set for a move south of the river with the Eagles offering a deal worth £25m with £5m in add-ons. But reports from the Guardian indicate that Nketiah could be joined by his current teammate and fellow Gunners’ outcast Jakub Kiwior with Palace seeking further defensive reinforcements.
The Polish defender has been on the cards to leave the Emirates throughout the summer but uncertainty has remained over whether it would be a permanent transfer or a loan. The 24-year-old has seen his workload limited with the brilliant pair of Gabriel and William Saliba leaving little for back-up defensive options to do.
Kiwior, who has been part of the Gunners set-up since January 2023, has received interest from the Serie A side Bologna, who lost Riccardo Calafiori in a £42m move to Arsenal earlier this summer. Bologna are reportedly viewing Kiwior as a potential Calafiori replacement but are set to face competition from the Eagles who only have Tyrick Mitchell as a natural left-back.
The Polish international joined the Gunners in a deal worth £17 million, plus £3m in add-ons. It is not yet known what Palace would be offering Arsenal for their defender but recent suggestions indicate Mikel Arteta has little intention of parting ways with the star.
