Arsenal are now turning their attention to the Europa League after another weekend to remember in the Premier League.

The Gunners pulled off an impressive comeback to beat Bournemouth over the weekend, maintaining their five-point lead at the top. But the Gunners must now focus on Thursday’s Europa League round of 16 first leg clash with Sporting CP. Arsenal have proven themselves on the domestic stage this season, but can they hold their nerve on the European stage?

While Arsenal prepare to answer that question, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Tierney interest

Arsenal could face losing Kieran Tierney this summer, according to reports.

Tierney has struggled for regular minutes this season amid the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko. As a result, the Evening Standard report Tierney is considering an exit, ‘tempted’ by a move to St James’ Park. It’s claimed Newcastle United could be interested in a move, aware that there may be a deal to be done given the risk the Scot could become unsettled in north London.

Tierney has just over three years remaining on his long Arsenal contract, so any deal is likely to cost Newcastle this summer.

Celebration criticism

Arsenal have been called out for their celebrations following recent comebacks against the likes of Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

Jamie O’Hara said on TalkSPORT: “You’ve got to calm down a little bit, you scraped a win against Bournemouth. They’re awful. We [Tottenham] did that away from home against them this season.”

The Gunners have not held back with their late celebrations, and that may not be the ‘winner’s way’, but football is all about the emotion, and Mikel Arteta has never been one to hide his emotions on the sidelines. It would be a tough sell for him to ask his players to behave differently.
