Attacker on radar

Arsenal are ‘considering’ a summer swoop for Atletico Madrid attacker Samu Omorodion along with fellow top flight teams Liverpool and West Ham, according to a report by CaughtOffside. Arteta’s side have been showing ‘interest’ in the 19-year-old and could try and lure him over to England to boost their options at the top end of the pitch.

Omorodion, who is a Spain youth international, has spent this term on loan at Deportivo Alaves in La Liga and has scored eight goals in 25 games. He was loaned out to get some experience under his belt and is due to return to his parent club when this campaign ends and they will have a decision to make on what to do with him next.

Striker latest

Arsenal would need to fend off competition from elsewhere if they are to land striker Joshua Kirkzee from Bologna. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia), Inter Milan have joined the race for his signature ahead of the next transfer window as they look to add more competition and depth to their ranks.

Kirkzee has been with his current club for the past two years after joining them back in 2022 and has benefitting from getting regular first-team football in Serie A, scoring 14 goals in 55 matches altogether. He has played for Bayern Munich in the past and also had loan spells away from Germany at Parma and Anderlecht to boost his development.
