Arsenal now turn their attention to a Premier League clash with Wolves after seeing off Dinamo Zagreb without much discomfort in the Champions League. The Gunners are hoping to close in on leaders Liverpool, but they are going to have to be ultra-consistent between now and the end of the season.

In the meantime, the search continues for new signings, with Mikel Arteta needing a new attacker between now and the end of the window. With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Sesko ‘push’

Arsenal are not taking no for an answer in their bid to land RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. That’s according to The Mirror’s John Cross, who says the Gunners are set to make a ‘big push’ to land the striker amid contract uncertainty.

It was reported that Sesko had penned a new deal, but it remains a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ at this stage, with nothing confirmed. That could give Arsenal an in, despite everyone surrounding Leipzig posturing as though there is no deal to be done. Arsenal will make a push to land the striker for £60million according to this latest report, perhaps testing the resolve of Sesko and Leipzig.

Arteta on injury blow

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says there is a possible injury concern surrounding Mylses Lewis-Skully. He said after the Dinamo Zagreb win: “I'm not sure. He judged it in the game against Villa and he thought it was okay and he finished the game and the next day it wasn't bad.

“And then yesterday he wasn't feeling right so he started the session and he wasn't feeling good so we need some more tests tomorrow. Hopefully it's nothing big but the games are coming very fast.”

Seaman on striker search

David Seaman has been speaking about Arsenal’s search for a striker. “Everybody is talking about signing a new striker and that does look like what we need,” Seaman told talkSPORT. “It looks like we’re trying to get a striker but to get a marquee striker, the finished article, in January… that doesn’t happen very often.

Kai Havertz isn’t an out-and-out striker but he’s scored some important goals. It’s frustrating because I can feel the fans’ frustration growing. There’s a few rumblings now because we’re not where we want to be. I know for a fact that they’re trying like mad to get one but whether it will be now or the summer, I don’t know. There’s ones in the pipeline so we will have to wait and see if they get done.”
