Arsenal have launched an ambitious bid worth £33million to land Villareal winger Yeremy Pino, according to multiple reports in Spain.

Pino is seen as a rising star in Spanish football and has the kind of profile that Mikel Arteta and Edu are on the lookout for.

At 19 years old, the winger has already established himself as one of the key players for The Yellow Submarine and was one of the success stories of their Champions League campaign last season.

The Spanish club are in financial difficulty but have been able to bring in the likes of Kiko Femenia, Jose Luis Morales and Pepe Reina, the only issue now is that they have to try and balance the books by selling a big name.

Arsenal have had a solid transfer window, with the addition of key men in very important areas and have seen expectations for the season increase due to a stunning pre-season and opening win against Crystal Palace.

The likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have brought experiences from Premier League champions Manchester City, while Fabio Vieira, highly rated in Portugal, is expected to bring creativity and guile to the team.

They showed they meant business by going to Crystal Palace and getting an impressive 2-0 win to set off their Premier League campaign.

They will now look to build on that when they host Leicester at the Emirates this weekend.
