Arsenal to 'consider selling wingers' to complete Alexander Isak transfer amid Saudi Pro League 'interest'

With Arsenal’s title hopes all but gone, Mikel Arteta will be looking ahead to next season and how he can improve his side in order to win the Premier League.
The Gunners dropped to 13 points behind Liverpool after they drew 0-0 against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night, following a 1-0 defeat in the previous game to West Ham.

Alexander Isak from Newcastle United has been identified as a target for Arsenal, but the Magpies will only likely sell him if they fail to qualify for the Champions League - they are currently sixth in the Premier League.
Arsenal could sell Martinelli or Trossard to fund Isak deal
Seeing as Arteta is eyeing up signing a striker and a winger in the summer window, he may have to offload a couple of players to fund his big transfer shake-up, especially in mind of Profit and Sustainability Rules.
According to the Mirror, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard could both be in consideration for sale because there is interest in both of them from the Saudi Pro League.

However, losing Martinelli would be a huge loss for the Gunners, but the report says that it is something that they may have to do to sign someone like Isak.
Martinelli is expected to be worth around £45m, and due to his age of just 23, Arsenal could drive up his price, earning a healthy profit on the winger. They signed him for just £5.8m in 2019.
Isak is expected to cost upwards of £80 million if Newcastle are prepared to sell him. If he is not for sale, then the Gunners could likely turn their attention to RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who could cost around £55 million.
Arsenal could sign £48m winger to replace Martinelli
With Arsenal keen to sign both a striker and a winger, they may have to sell both Martinelli and Trossard this summer in order to fund their transfer plans.

Williams has made 21 appearances this season for Bilbao, scoring three goals and five assists. He remains top of their list with regards to winger options, but they will also need to fund a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, who they reportedly agreed a deal for in January.
