With the January transfer window drawing ever closer, rumours of signings and departures are abundant. Arsenal are no strangers to this - here are three players the Gunners have been recently linked with. The first is one of Argentina’s shining stars at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He was one of La Albiceleste’s most important players, making a huge contribution at the tournament towards their success.
Arsenal are also looking at the possibility of signing a 21-year-old Ukrainian winger in January. However, they will need to beat Newcastle United to the punch, who are also keen on adding him to their ranks. Additionally, Arsenal are also interested in signing a veteran Spanish attacking midfielder in January. He is expected to leave on a free, with the deal at his current club looking set to be cut short.

Alexis Mac Allister, following his legendary performances at the World Cup, is in the crosshairs of several big clubs ahead of the January transfer window. Among them is Arsenal, according to The Boot Room.
A coveted dynamic midfielder, Arsenal are far from the only club in the race to secure his signature from Brighton. Atletico Madrid are keen on adding him to their dressing room, as are North London rivals Tottenham. Nothing surrounding the 23-year-old Brighton star has been finalised yet, however, as he is enjoying some much-needed downtime after Argentina’s third World Cup win was secured.
Gunners in pursuit of Ukrainian wonderkid
Mykhaylo Mudryk is a target of both Arsenal and Newcastle United, according to Football 365. However, he still has three and a half years remaining on his contract at Shakhtar Donetsk and could command a hefty sum of around £50 million.
Arsenal are looking to go all-out in their pursuit of the Premier League title. Signing such a promising young player would be a statement of intent, but would it bolster their title chances short-term?

Former Real Madrid star, Isco, is a January transfer target for Arsenal, according to The Boot Room. His contract could be terminated by current club Sevilla to help facilitate a free move elsewhere. Yahoo Sport reports that no decision regarding his future has been made as of yet.
However, if Arsenal want to sign the Spanish attacking midfielder, they will have to offer a better deal than Tottenham. The Gunners’ bitterest rivals are also in the race to sign Isco - should he move to Spurs, it would be a hammer blow for Arsenal fans wishing to see him at the Emirates Stadium.
