It’s been an utterly miserable few days here in London, with rain, wind, and storms battering the capital.
But the good news is, the end is in sight, and better weather is on its way! The forecasts show average temperatures and cloudy skies will return very soon - just in time for Chinese New Year.

Rain will continue throughout today and finally stop around 7pm in the capital. According to the Met Office forecast: “Today will be generally cloudy with further outbreaks of rain and showers, these locally heavy at times. Winds will still be strong winds in place.”
The outlook for Wednesday is largely cloudy with some sunny intervals in the afternoon. There will be highs of 9C.
There may be some patchy rain showers throughout the rest of the week but the bulk of the downpours will end this evening (January 28.)

We’re hoping this means the unsettled weather will calm down before London’s Lunar New Year celebrations and parade.
Temperatures are going to be mild and at the time of publishing there are no further weather warnings in place (hooray!)
