The exact time Storm Éowyn will hit London today bringing 50mph winds
Storm Eowyn will hit London over the weekend as gusts of wind in the city reach over 50mph starting from today (Friday, January 24).
Winds are set to reach up to 40mph in London around midday on Friday before easing up in the afternoon and evening.

Hide AdThe strong winds are expected to return on Sunday (January 26) as gusts are forecast to reach 54mph by 12pm.
The Met Office has issued several weather warnings for the UK over the weekend with London having been issued a yellow wind alert for today.
The meteorological service’s alert for London was enforced from 5am this morning to 3pm this afternoon and warned it could cause delays on transport.
The yellow warning is not the only weather alert that the Met Office has issued for London this weekend.

Hide AdThere is also a yellow warning for the city for rain on Sunday as well as Monday (January 27).
It will be in force throughout Sunday and the early hours of Monday with the forecaster advising Londoners to also be aware of potential flooding, following the heavy downpours.
