TfL this weekend January 26 to 28: Underground, Overground and Elizabeth line disruptions

Londoners travelling into the capital this weekend could be faced with disruption due to closures on Tube and rail services.
Transport for London (TfL) has asked Londoners to check before they travel.

Here is the full list of planned TfL service changes this weekend, January 26 to 28.
London Underground
Metropolitan Line
Saturday 27 and Sunday January 28
No service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge
For travel from central London, use the Metropolitan line to Harrow-on-the-Hill or the Central line to West Ruislip to connect with rail replacement bus services.
Piccadilly line
Saturday 27 and Sunday January 28
No service between Acton Town and Uxbridge
Use alternative Tube services or rail replacement bus services. Rail replacement buses will run between Acton Town and Rayners Lane, and between Uxbridge and Harrow-on-the-Hill.
London Overground
Saturday 27 and Sunday January 28

Hide AdNo service between Willesden Junction and Stratford (via West Hampstead)
Use the District line for travel to/from Richmond, Kew Gardens and Gunnersbury. For Caledonian Road & Barnsbury, use bus route 274 to/from Camden Road, or walk to/from Highbury & Islington.
Rail replacement buses will run every 15 minutes between Willesden Junction and Camden Road, and between Camden Road and Stratford. This is due to Network Rail works.
No service between Surrey Quays and New Cross
For New Cross, use London Overground services to New Cross Gate, then walk or use local bus routes 53, 177 or 453. This is due to Network Rail works.

Hide AdNo service between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction, including during Friday and Saturday Night services
Use local bus route 30. Rail replacement buses will run every 10 minutes. During Night Service hours, use Night Bus route N277. This is due to Network Rail works.
Sunday January 28
No service between Barking and Barking Riverside
Use bus route EL1. This is due to Network Rail works.
Elizabeth line
Sunday January 28
Reduced service between Maryland and Gidea Park until 12.15pm
Trains will run every 15 minutes until 12:15.
Reduced service between West Drayton and Maidenhead, and also at Heathrow T4

Hide AdTrains will call at Heathrow T4, West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead every 30 minutes. Trains will not call at Acton Main Line, Hanwell and West Ealing stations. This is due to HS2 works at Old Oak Common station.
Buses and roads
Friday January 26
Aldwych
From 1pm until 3pm, a demonstration will be taking place on Aldwych. Large crowds are expected.
Friday 26 until Monday January 29
A4 West Cromwell Road closure
From 10pm on Friday January 26 until 5am on Monday January 29, West Cromwell Road, A4 will be closed eastbound, from the junction of North End Road to Warwick Road. Westbound traffic will also be affected. This is due to a developer installing a tower crane for the Ardmore construction site.
While these works take place, use alternative routes where possible, allow more time for your journey and check before you travel. If you need to travel through the area, significant delays to your journey are expected. Diversions will be in place, but are expected to be busy.
Commercial Road, E1

Hide AdFrom 11pm on Friday January 26 until 5am on Monday January 29, Commercial Road will be closed at the junction with Whitechapel High Street for a tower crane construction.
Saturday January 27
Whitehall
The Gordons School Memorial Parade will be taking place from 11am until 1pm, starting and finishing at King Charles Street. During the ceremony Horse Guards Avenue will be closed to traffic for approximately 20 minutes. Large crowds and increased traffic are expected.
Trafalgar Square
From 12pm until 11.59pm, demonstrations will be taking place at Trafalgar Square. Large crowds are expected.
The O2, North Greenwich
From 6pm until 11pm, the O2 will be hosting Depeche Mode in concert. Large crowds and increased traffic are expected at the beginning and end of the event.
Saturday 27 and Sunday January 28
Central London area

Hide AdThe London Winter Walk will be taking place from 8am until 9pm each day, starting and finishing at the Kia Oval. Large crowds are expected.
Davido will be in concert at the O2 from 6pm until 11pm. Large crowds and increased traffic are expected at the beginning and end of the event.
