TfL Tube travel this weekend, June 2-4: Elizabeth line, Bakerloo and Piccadilly disruption amid train strikes

With major events taking place in London this weekend and train strikes taking place, travellers may need to plan ahead.

Aslef train drivers walk out again Saturday (June 3), while members of the RMT union are on strike today (June 2).

Saturday will also see thousands coming to the city for events including Mighty Hoopla, the FA Cup final and the Epsom Derby.

The strikes impact national rail lines but TfL services are expected to be busier than usual.

Bakerloo line

On Friday night (June 2), Marylebone station will be closed for Bakerloo line services from 11.50pm.

District line

Due to national strikes, the following services will be affected:

Friday (June 2):

No service between Turnham Green and Richmond before 5.30am or after midnight.

No service between Parsons Green and Wimbledon before 6.30am or after midnight.

Saturday (June 3):

No service between Parsons Green and Wimbledon before 6.45am or after midnight.

Saturday and Sunday (June 3 and 4):

No service between Earl’s Court and Richmond/Ealing Broadway. Use alternative Tube, Elizabeth line or rail replacement bus services.

Piccadilly line

Saturday and Sunday (June 3 and 4):No service between Hyde Park Corner and Acton Town, including Friday and Saturday Night Tube services. Use alternative Tube, Elizabeth line or rail replacement bus services.

London Overground

Sunday (June 4)

No service between Watford High Street and Watford Junction before 7am and after 7pm due to national rail strike action. Use local buses.

No service between Camden Road and Stratford after 10.15pm. Use local bus or rail replacement bus services.

No service between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction after 10.15pm. A rail replacement bus service will run.

No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction. A rail replacement bus service will run.

Elizabeth line

Friday (June 2)

Due to national rail strikes taking place, the following services will be affected:

No service between Maidenhead and Reading before 7am and after 7pm.

No services from Paddington National Rail platforms before 7am and after 7pm.

No service between Brentwood and Shenfield after 11.30pm.

Saturday (June 3)

No services from Paddington National Rail platforms before 7am due to national rail strikes.

Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

Saturday and Sunday (June 3-4)

No service between Prince Regent and Beckton. A rail replacement bus service will run.

Tuesday until Thursday (June 6-8)

No service on all routes after 11.30pm. Use alternative Tube, London Overground, local bus and c2c or Southeastern services.

London Trams

Friday and Saturday (June 2-3)

Due to national rail strikes, the following services will be affected:

No service between Wimbledon and Dundonald Road before 6.30am.

Sunday (June 4)

No service between King Henry's Drive and New Addington. The walk between King Henry’s Drive/New Addington is around five minutes.

Buses and roads

Bus journeys will be affected by the following this weekend.

Saturday (June 3)

Rose Hill roundabout - An anti-ULEZ demonstration will take place from 11am to 6pm.

Lords Cricket Ground - England vs Ireland Test Match Day 3 from 10am to 8pm.

Mall and Horse Guards Road - Trooping The Colour/Major Generals Review will take place from 9am to 2pm.

Wembley Stadium - FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Manchester United. Crowds from aam until 8pm.

East and central London - The Night Rider Bike Ride will take place from 8pm to 8am.

Brockwell Park - The Mighty Hoopla Festival will take place from midday to 11.30pm.

Saturday and Sunday (June 3-4)

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Beyoncé in concert. Crowds from 6pm to 11.30pm.

Sunday (June 4)

O2 Arena Greenwich - The Disney 100 Concert. Crowds from 4pm to 9pm..

Lords Cricket Ground - England vs Ireland Test Match Day 4 from 10am to 8pm.

Until Saturday June 24

HS2 works at Swiss Cottage - Until Saturday June 24, there will be a series of lane closures on the A41 Finchley Road at the Swiss Cottage Gyratory and on Avenue Road, College Crescent and Hilgrove Road. These are HS2 works ahead of construction of the new railway.
