Thousands of Beyoncé fans are set to flock to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week as the singer performs for London crowds. While disruption to traffic in the area is no doubt expected, there will be standard road closures in place too.

The Renaissance tour will arrive in London next week as Beyoncé performs a total of five shows in the capital. She will take to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium stage on Monday, (May 29) and return for both midweek and weekend shows.

Taking place in one of the city’s many stadiums, the spot has good public transport links, including nearby underground stops and bus routes. But those planning to drive to the event should know there will be road closures on the day of the singer’s shows.

Some roads closest to the stadium close on the event days for safety purposes. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has confirmed these closures will also be in place for Beyoncé’s shows at the venue.

We break down what road closures as well as public transport alternatives.

Road closures for Beyoncé’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium shows

Organisers have advised drivers not to travel to the stadium by car. This is because the area surrounding the venue is expected to have road closures. As explained on the Tottenham Hotspur website, their "major event day road closure measures" will be enforced on the day.

The following streets usually close during stadium events:

  • Worcester Avenue - closed from 8am
  • Park Lane - 3 hours before event 
  • High Road - 2 hours before event
  • Bromley Road - 1 hour before event
  • Whitehall Street - During the event

How to get to Beyoncé’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium shows via shuttle bus

There are two shuttle bus routes that will be in service on the day of Beyoncé’s shows. One will depart from Alexandra Palace, and the other will travel from Wood Green.

The buses will have frequent services before and after the event. They will start three hours before and end 2 hours after the end of the show.

While the shuttle bus service is free, guests can secure a place by pre-booking on the stadium’s website. The pickup spot post-show is at Haringey Sixth Form College, which is 10 minutes away from the stadium.

How to get to Beyoncé’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium shows via TFL buses 

Those wanting to travel by bus will be able to travel via several services. The W3, 149, 259, 279 and 349 all stop near the stadium.

Due to road closures 149, 259, 279 and 349, services will be diverted away from the High Road. 349 services will instead go through Northumberland Park and Lansdowne Road, while 149, 259 and 279 will divert through The Roundway and Lordship Lane.
