Chiltern Railways has announced it will run an amended timetable for a week at the end of July due to planned industrial action by two unions.
Aslef members at 16 train companies have said they will be partaking in an overtime ban from July 17 to July 22, while RMT members will be striking on July 20 and July 22, culminating in a collective week of action.

The RMT’s general secretary Mick Lynch meanwhile said the union “will continue its industrial campaign until we reach a negotiated settlement on pay, working conditions and job security”.
Chiltern Railways has now confirmed it will be reducing service frequency on certain routes on the days of the Aslef overtime ban, and running a very limited service during the RMT strikes.
