Londoners have been warned to expect petrol prices to rise once again after oil producers agreed to slash production by two million barrels per day.
It comes after members of the oil producers’ group opted to take action to boost prices.

The Organisation of Oil Exporting Countries (Opec+) group, which produces 30% of the world’s crude oil, is made up of oil-exporters including Saudi Arabia and Russia, who decide how much to sell in the world’s markets.
The price of fuel skyrocketed early this year due to the war in Ukraine and a disruption in world oil supplies, but had been falling since their peak during the summer.
However, the news that countries are seeking to cut their output once again is likely to hit consumers at the pump.

Reacting to the announcement last week, RAC spokesperson Simon Williams said that this would “inevitably” lead to higher oil prices, and added: "The question is when, and to what extent, retailers choose to pass these increased costs on at their forecourts."
We contacted Petrol Prices to find out the cheapest and most expensive areas to top in your vehicle in response to the news.
