ITV’s Lorraine: Stacey Solomon reveals her pregnancy was a ‘surprise’ as she prepares for baby number five

Stacey Solomon has revealed that her fifth pregnancy with husband Joe Swash was a “surprise”.

The TV personality, 33, from Essex, shocked fans on social media when she announced that she was eight months pregnant with her fifth baby just months after marrying Joe.

She looked stunning with a blossoming baby bump as she joined Lorraine Kelly on Thursday to discuss the new series of ‘Sort Your Life Out’.

“You look terrific, you have the most perfect little bump,” Lorraine Kelly told the Loose Women star.

A visibly happy Stacey replied: “We are just so grateful. Yes it was a surprise, but we are so grateful that we get the chance to do it again”

Stacey, who tied the knot with Joe at their Pickle Cottage home in July, is expecting her third child with her new husband.

The former X-factor singer is also mum to eldest son Zachery and Leighton from a previous relationship, while sharing Rex and baby girl Rose with Joe, who is also father to Harry.

Stacey hosts the BBC TV series ‘Sort Your Life Out’ focused on helping families clear out and organise their homes.

Speaking to Lorraine about how she stays organised at home, Stacey explained: “We do our best, nothing I do is perfect and sorted. I’m grateful just to be alive so I’m always really happy.

“Nothing I do is perfect and sorted and I’m just grateful to be alive genuinely, so most of the time I’m quite high spirited.

Stacey first shot to fame when she was a contestant on X-Factor in 2009. She came third behind runner up Olly Murs and  winner Joe Mcelderry.

Sort Your Life Out starts on BBC Wednesday 25 January at 9 pm
