Love Island star Ekin-Su Culculoglu ‘suing’ Oh Polly after £1 million deal ‘collapses’ just six months in

Ekin-Su Culculoglu is reportedly taking legal action against Oh Polly after the clothing brand ‘dropped’ her from a deal worth £1 million.

The former Turkish actress, 28, from London, was snapped up to be the face of Oh Polly in September, after winning ITV’s Love Island with partner, Davide Sanclimenti, 27.

Her £1 million contract was widely reported as being one of the biggest brand collaborations in the history of Love Island.

At the time the excited star had gushed over the collaboration, saying:  "I want every woman, every age and every size to feel great.

“When I was 23 I wore Oh Polly. I’m 28 and I’m still wearing Oh Polly. Hopefully when I’m 38, I’ll still be wearing Oh Polly.”

Ekin-Su even had a huge Oh Polly launch party where she stepped out in a sleek black mini dress and celebrated with Davide and her Love Island castmates.

She originally agreed to work with the brand because she wanted to work with an ethical brand.

A source told The Sun: “After speaking with all of the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned to her own values of sustainability and therefore decided against signing to a fast fashion brand.”

However, the star has been noticeably quiet about the brand in recent months and it was reported that the Dancing on Ice star had been dropped just six months into the contract.

To add insult to injury, Ekin-su’s 16 piece collection is now being sold off at reduced prices.

An insider speaking to The Sun stated that “Both the brand and Ekin have been left disappointed and there is now a dispute over money owed on the lucrative contract.”

The star has not commented publicly on her social media platform about the dispute which comes as she stuns on the cover of Women’s Health’s March issue.

In the magazine, she opens up about her dreams of starting an acting career, shares how boyfriend @DavideSancli has supported her every step of the way, and explain swhy her motivation for working out doesn’t revolve around appearance.
