London is officially the 'most Instagrammable' city in the world

What makes a city ‘Insta-worthy’? It’s got to be cool, vibey and colourful with great architecture and even better food options.

Well, then it should come as no surprise that our London has been crowned the best of the best.

The Big Smoke has been named the most Instagrammable city in the world for the second year in a row.

Research from the travel experts at Titan Travel tours analysed Instagram data to determine the world’s most photogenic city breaks.

The research also looked into TikTok and Google search data for the world’s most visited countries and cities over the last three years, crowning the world’s most popular city and country break destinations.

They also revealed each country's most popular sights and landmarks on social media for 2024.

With over 160 million Instagram posts, London is the world’s most photogenic city, for the second year in a row, beating the likes of Paris, Barcelona, New York and Dubai.

The capital has many photogenic spots, including the Tower of London, Big Ben and the London Eye, which provides a beautiful view of the city’s skyline.

A 77.56% increase in Google searches and a 4.82% increase in Instagram posts about London in the last 3 years shows just how popular it is among tourists wanting to visit our buzzing city.
