So it will come as no surprise that Greater London is the ‘easiest place’ to get a pint in the country.

The masterminds over at play-book-slots.com, who conducted the research, have broken down the data so we can see the London boroughs with the most pubs. You never know this is the sort of information that could come in very useful during a pub quiz (or night out!)

According to the data the City of London is by far the most accessible place to get a pint in the UK.

It has 615.92 pubs per 1,000 hectares, which is a whopping 5,618.9% higher than the national average.

In the City of London, there are 178 pubs, many of which were built during the 17th century, including Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese and Old Doctor Butler’s Head. 

Westminster has the second-highest number of pubs per 1,000 hectares at 230.94 - 2,044.3% above the UK average. 

There are 496 pubs in the area, with The Red Lion, The Harp, and Buckingham Arms being popular choices near Westminster tube station for those looking to grab a pint. 

Islington ranks third, with 172.98 pubs per 1,000 hectares, which is 1,506.1% higher than the national average.

Among the 257 pubs in Islington, The Old Queen’s Head is one of the highest-rated choices, known for transforming into a ‘night out’ pub once the weekend begins.
