The Met Office says: “A period of strong and gusty south-westerly winds is likely to affect southern parts of England and Wales through Monday and at first on Tuesday. The forecast for today is wet and windy, with rain set to drench the capital into tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures are mild, hitting highs of 8C in London.
The Met Office has said there could be delays on the roads and rails, and there could also be a temporary loss of power.
