London is one of the 'kinkiest cities in the world' - and here are the stats to prove it
London is one of the raunchiest cities on the planet - but apparently Birmingham is even hornier!
When it comes to the art of love making, London has a bit of a reputation as a top performer (at least that’s what’s written on the bathroom walls anyway!)

The UK capital is renowned for its sex-positive attitude, dating back to the 1960s and 1970s. From Soho strip clubs to rockstar relationships and Austin Powers, London is a city for shaggers.
And now a new study has revealed that London is in fact one of the ‘kinkiest cities’, not just in the UK but in the world.
Australian sex toy company Pleasure Chest analysed the number of ‘sex toy’ searches per 10,000 residents. Alongside this, the study looked at searches for ‘BDSM’, sex toy market sales per capita, average sex toy market sales across the city, the number of sex-related events in each city, and the number of sex shops.
These factors were combined into a ‘kink rank’ of the top global cities for sexual exploration and wellness.
And unsurprisingly, London came out on top (well, among the top cities...)

London is ranked the 20th kinkiest city in the world. The UK capital had the most sex events of any UK city, with 162 organised this year.
A quick Google search (not on the company Wi-Fi) showed events include bondage classes, burlesque nights, and even a kinky clothes swap.
The capital also spent around $145 million on sex toys this year (you randy lot!) and has the eighth highest number of sex shops of any city in the world.
Outrageously, Birmingham ranked higher than London in the rankings, coming in tenth. It was the only other UK city to make the saucy list. Who knew Brummies were such a randy group?
In case you were wondering, LA, Chicago, Milan, New York, and Marseille were rated the top five most kinky cities in the world (this info might come in handy when booking your next holiday!)
