Watch: Armed police stop street fight as group attack each other ‘with weapons’

This is the moment armed police intervened after a street fight in London - which saw a group attacking each other “with weapons”.

The shocking incident took place in broad daylight in Tower Hamlets, East London on September 29.

Footage shows "youths" going after each other, with some appearing to brandish weapons - as members of the public walk past.

Another clip then shows armed police on the scene, with some of the group lying on the floor.

The Met said three arrests were made but the males were later released with no further action.

A force spokesperson said: "Police were called at 4.28pm on Thursday, September 29, to Barry Blandford Way E3 to reports of a disturbance involving a group of youths.

"Three males were detained and arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

"A machete was recovered. There were no reports of any injuries. They were later released with no further action."
