Bishopsgate stabbing: Police cordon in place after three knifed in City of London

A police cordon is in place after three people were stabbed and one pushed over in an attack in the City of London.
Paramedics and police officers rushed to Bishopsgate near Liverpool Street Station this morning (Thursday, October 6) at just before 10am to reports of multiple knifings.

Three victims were taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Police said the incident was ongoing but not being treated as terror-related.


It’s thought to be a suspected robbery, the force added.
A City of London police spokesperson said earlier: “We are aware of an incident this morning on Bishopsgate.


“Our officers are at the scene and London Ambulance are in attendance.
“A cordon is currently in place.”

Hide AdAnd they added: “We received reports of three stabbings and a person pushed to the floor on Bishopsgate at 9.46am and officers arrived at the scene at 9.51am.
“Three victims were taken by LAS to a nearby hospital to be treated.”
