A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing near Colour Factory nightclub in Hackney Wick.

Trei Daley died on Saturday after the early-morning incident.

Christopher Appiah-Blay, 35, of Wick Road, Hackney, was charged on Tuesday (February 14) with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was kept in custody and will appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court today.

Police were called at around 4.30am on Saturday after two people arrived at an east London hospital with stab wounds.

Mr Daley, 26, of Bromley, south London, died despite the efforts of medics.

A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.

The second man, aged 24, was discharged from hospital later that same day.
