A man has been charged with attempted murder and GBH after two police officers were stabbed in Leicester Square.
Mohammed Rahman is to be charged with attempted murder and GBH after two Met Police officers were attacked in central London on Friday, September 16.

Hide AdThe 24-year-old west London resident will face a total of seven charges when he appears at Wimbledon Magistrates Court today (Monday, September 19).
A spokesman for the force said: “A man has been charged by detectives investigating the stabbing of two police officers in Westminster on Friday, September 16.
“Mohammed Rahman, 24, was charged with attempted murder and Section 18 GBH with intent.
“The attempted murder charge relates to a male police constable, the GBH to a female police constable.”

Hide AdThey added: “He was also charged with assault and two counts of threatening a person in a public place with a bladed article.
“These charges relate to three other police constables.
“In addition, he was charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.
“Rahman will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday.”
