Heathrow Airport arrest: Man, 24, charged with attempted murder after four injured in Hounslow car crash

A man has been charged with attempted murder after four people were injured in a car crash in Hounslow.

Choudry Qamar Azad Razaq, 24, of Westmacott Drive, Feltham, appeared in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 27.

He was charged with four counts of attempted murder and driving whilst disqualified.

Mr Razaq has been remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on October 25.

He was arrested at Heathrow airport on Monday as he attempted to leave the country, the Met Police previously said.

Officers were called at 2.43am on Sunday, September 25, to reports of four pedestrians being struck by a car in Kingsley Road, near the junction with Taunton Avenue.

The four men, all aged in their early 20s, were taken to hospital.

Two remain in critical condition while the others were treated for non-life changing injuries.

The driver of the car did not stop at the scene.

Two other men have been arrested as part of the investigation.

A man arrested for perverting the course of justice has been bailed pending further enquiries and a man arrested for assisting an offender has been released under investigation.

Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
