It follows an investigation by the force watchdog, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) into the collision.
A IOPC spokesperson said: “Our sympathies remain with Ms Daniel-Folkes’ family and loved ones.
“Our investigation concluded in May 2022, when we provided a file of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) which authorised the charges.”

A Met spokesperson said: “A collision occurred as two separate police cars responded to an emergency call. As they did so one of them struck a female pedestrian.
“The thoughts and sincerest condolences of the Met remain with her family and friends.
“The IOPC undertook an independent investigation, which the Met fully supported, to establish the cause of the collision. Subsequently the IOPC referred the matter to the CPS.
